Detectives are urgently seeking witnesses following the fatal stoning of a man in Eynsford, Kent. The incident occurred near the grounds of Lullingstone Castle.
Kent Police were called to a disturbance at Lullingstone Castle grounds at 5.21pm on Thursday, 28 May 2020. Upon arrival, officers and paramedics found a man in his 60s who was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is believed the victim was involved in an altercation with two boys or teenagers near a lake before the fatal attack.
Police are appealing to anyone who was near the lake between 12pm and 7pm on the day of the incident to come forward. This includes dog walkers, anglers, golfers, joggers, and cyclists.
Authorities are particularly keen to speak with anyone who saw two young people in the area or who can provide video footage from vehicles travelling along Castle Road or Shoreham Road.
