An elderly man is in hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a white Kia hatchback in Tonbridge on Friday afternoon.
Kent Police were called at 12.14pm on 21 November 2025 following the crash near the junction of Cornwallis Avenue and Orchard Drive.
The driver of the Kia remained at the scene while emergency services, including South East Coast Ambulance Service, attended and rushed the man, believed to be in his 70s, to hospital.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is leading the probe into the incident. Detectives are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or captured it on dashcam or mobile phone to get in touch immediately.

Officers are particularly keen to see any videos showing the Kia’s movements before and after the collision. Drivers with dashcams are urged to check their recordings now and come forward.
