Police have released a CCTV image after an armed robbery took place at a convenience store in Gillingham during broad daylight.
The incident occurred just after 2.30pm on Thursday, 13 November 2025, at a shop located on Jeffery Street. During the robbery, the suspect threatened a worker with a hammer and a knife before smashing the till and making off with the contents.
The suspect fled the scene by running down James Street and disappeared into the Dalton Street car park.
Kent Police have launched a manhunt following a forensic breakthrough and have reviewed CCTV footage to identify the suspect. They have released a clear image of the man they wish to question in connection with the incident.
