The National Police Air Support team was scrambled to Mote Park, Maidstone at around 1.30pm on Saturday, 3 January 2026. Their specialist search aircraft is currently conducting a thorough sweep of the park in an ongoing operation.
Details about the incident remain limited as the search continues. Kent Police have been contacted for an official update but have yet to provide further information.
A Kent Police spokesman confirmed that officers were called to Mote Park following a report of a man behaving inappropriately at 12.52pm. “Officers attended and searched the area. No one matching the man’s description was located,” the spokesman said.
The search remains active as the police helicopter continues to comb the skies over Mote Park in Maidstone.
