Kent Police were called at 4.07pm on Friday 10 May following a hit-and-run collision at a red light crossing on the A2990, Thanet Way near the Greenhill Bridge Road roundabout.

The crash involved a silver Citroen and a second vehicle, believed to be a small silver van. The driver of the van fled the scene heading towards Chestfield.

Emergency services, including officers and paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service, attended the scene promptly. One person was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

Kent Police are actively hunting the van driver and are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward. Witnesses can contact police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 10-0912.
