Just after 8:50am on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, a man fired an air rifle into the air in Appledore Close, Margate, causing alarm among local residents. The air rifle was reported to have a brown stock and a black barrel.
Kent Police swiftly responded to the incident and arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with the shooting. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the event. The suspect has since been released on police bail while investigations are ongoing.
Kent Police have launched a full investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and are actively searching for the air rifle used. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist with the case.
