A van driver in his 40s was violently assaulted after arriving at Eureka Leisure Park in Ashford on Monday morning, May 6. Between approximately 7.30am and 8.30am, his van was suddenly surrounded by a group of roughly 20 motorcyclists.
When the vehicles came to a halt, the van driver was attacked through his window. The group then dragged him out of the vehicle and repeatedly punched and kicked him. The victim sustained injuries to his face, legs, and hand before being rushed to a local hospital for treatment. The van was also damaged during the incident.
Kent Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses. They are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who saw the large group of motorcyclists around Eureka Leisure Park on the morning of May 6.
Motorists with dash cam footage from the area between 7.30am and 8.30am on May 6 are urged to come forward. Kent Police said, “Anyone with information is asked to call 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/77307/24.”
