Shoppers at Siesta on Palace Street in Canterbury were shocked by a racial abuse incident on May 4. Between 5.10pm and 5.15pm, two customers reportedly directed a verbal tirade towards a group inside the store.
The incident began when the two individuals grew hostile while waiting to be served. Witnesses have described the tirade as racially aggravated, escalating what started as a simple queue delay into a public order issue.
Kent Police are currently searching for a man and woman seen on CCTV who may have important information regarding the incident. Authorities are appealing to anyone who witnessed the exchange or can identify the suspects to come forward.
