On Monday 18 June 2024, Kent Police’s County Lines and Gangs Team carried out a raid on a property located on Mill Road. The operation targeted a suspected county lines drug network operating in the area.
During the search, officers uncovered a significant stash linked to serious drug dealing. Items seized included suspected crack cocaine and heroin, as well as digital scales, cutting agents, and cling film, which are commonly used in drug distribution.
In addition to the drugs, police recovered cash and several mobile phones believed to have been used in criminal activities related to the drug operation.
Three suspects were arrested on suspicion of drug offences. Among those detained were a 24-year-old man from Brixton and a 32-year-old woman from Gillingham. Both were later released on bail pending further investigations. A second woman arrested during the raid was released without charge.
This operation represents another significant effort by Kent Police to disrupt county lines networks that exploit vulnerable communities. The force remains committed to targeting organised crime groups to improve safety on local streets.
