Police were called to Biggin Street in Dover at 4.30pm on Saturday, 22 June 2024, after reports of a man acting inappropriately towards women during the day.
Officers quickly located and arrested Jasur Islomov, 30, who has no fixed address, on Pencester Road shortly before 5pm. He is now charged with two counts of sexual assault and a public order offence.
Islomov appeared at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 24 June, where he was remanded in custody. He is scheduled to return to court on Friday, 28 June.
Kent Police have stated that enquiries into the incident are ongoing. They urge anyone who witnessed the events or has relevant information to contact them on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/103140/24.
