Detectives are investigating a stabbing incident in Canterbury Lane that left a man injured with wounds. The attack occurred at around 3.20am on 21 April 2024, following a heated argument earlier in Lower Bridge Street.
Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the assault. Officers continue their enquiries to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
As part of the investigation, Kent Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to identify, hoping he can provide information to assist the inquiry. Anyone who recognises the man or has any information is urged to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/64176/24.
A 23-year-old man from south London has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He is due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on 23 August 2024. A 20-year-old man arrested in Margate has been released on bail while investigations continue.
