Shock gripped Crockenhill Cemetery after a man was caught committing an indecent act near the grounds of All Souls’ Church. The disturbing incident occurred around lunchtime on Saturday 13 July 2024 in the extension area of the church cemetery, located off Eynsford Road.
Two women were left stunned when they spotted the man lurking by a hedgerow. The suspect was seen engaging in the indecent behaviour, prompting immediate concern from those nearby.
Police have released a description of the suspect. He is described as approximately 6ft tall with a slim build, likely in his late 20s or early 30s. At the time of the incident, he was wearing dark trousers and may have been in a beige top or possibly without anything above the waist.
Officers responded promptly to the scene and conducted searches in the surrounding areas but have not yet located the man. Kent Police are urging residents near All Souls’ Church to review any doorbell camera or CCTV footage, particularly between 11am and 1pm on the day of the incident, to help identify the suspect’s movements.
