Kent Police are investigating an early morning assault near a petrol station close to Ashford town centre. The incident occurred at approximately 4:30am on Thursday, 11th July 2024, near a petrol station on Beaver Road.
Officers responded to reports of a disturbance involving three men and a woman. According to police, a man known to those involved made threats towards a woman and assaulted another man before fleeing the scene. The assaulted man sustained bruises but no serious injuries, and the woman was unharmed.
A 40-year-old man was arrested the following day in connection with the incident. He has since been released on bail as inquiries continue.
Kent Police are appealing for anyone who was near Beaver Road between 4am and 5am on 11th July to come forward with information. Witnesses or those with dashcam footage are asked to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/114917/24.
