Kent Police are currently investigating a serious assault that took place in Tunbridge Wells. The incident occurred on Sherwood Way at approximately 7:10pm on Friday, July 19, 2024.
Officers were called to the scene following reports of a disturbance. Upon arrival, they found that a man in his 40s had already been taken to hospital. The victim received treatment for his injuries and has since been discharged.
Later that evening, police arrested three suspects in connection with the assault. The suspects include a 40-year-old woman from the local area and two teenagers aged 15 and 16. All three face suspicion of assault and have been released on bail. They are due to return to the police station on October 7 for further questioning.
