Kent Police are seeking witnesses following a serious crash on London Road, Aylesford, early on Friday morning, 26 July 2024.
The collision involved two vehicles, a green Ford Focus and a white Ford Transit, near the New Road junction at around 7:00 AM during the morning rush hour.
Emergency services, including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service, responded promptly to the scene.
A man in his 30s sustained critical injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in London for urgent medical treatment. Another man in his 20s was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit due to drink or drugs. He remains in police custody as investigations continue.
Kent Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward. Witnesses are asked to call 999 and quote reference number 26-0156.
