Chaos erupted on Bybrook Road, Kennington, Ashford, in the early hours of Friday, 22nd November 2024. Around 1am, a man was seen brandishing a knife while pacing the street aggressively. Witnesses reported hearing him shout threats, warning he would “give someone ‘one in the neck.'” The tense situation left local residents rattled and on edge.

The man reportedly blocked a taxi and raised his knife at the driver before chasing after the vehicle. Those who witnessed the incident described the encounter as “scary” and have urged anyone travelling at night to remain vigilant. The unsettling behaviour has caused concern among residents about safety in the area.

Officers from Kent Police were called to the scene, but it remains unclear if the suspect was apprehended. Kent Police are appealing for information from witnesses or anyone with details about the incident. Residents are advised to stay alert and report any suspicious activity immediately.
