Kent Police were called in the early hours of Tuesday 29 March 2022 following reports of a man attempting to break into cars on Bellevue Road in Ramsgate.

Officers arrived promptly and confirmed that at least two vehicles had been broken into. Thieves made off with items from at least one of the cars targeted during the incident.

Police identified a suspect and arrested a 41-year-old man later the same day on suspicion of theft. He has since been released on bail while investigations are ongoing.
