A violent brawl broke out on a westbound Central Line train at 3.30pm on Wednesday, February 9. A man and a woman, who were pushing two prams with young children, caused chaos onboard before launching an attack on a female passenger.
As the train arrived at East Acton station, the man grabbed a woman’s bag. When she attempted to retrieve it, his female companion forcefully pulled her off the train. The attacker shouted abuse and punched the victim in the face.
The victim was then pushed onto the platform floor, where she was repeatedly punched and kicked in the face. The assailant stole the victim’s phone from her pocket before the group fled the scene.

Authorities emphasise the importance of speaking up to ensure these offenders are brought to justice.
