A woman in her 30s is in critical condition following a hit-and-run incident on Higher Cambridge Street, Manchester, just after midnight on Sunday, May 1. The collision involved a grey Volkswagen Polo and occurred near Boundary Street West.
The pedestrian was immediately rushed to hospital and is currently fighting for her life.
Police from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) are urging the public to come forward with any dash cam footage that may help with the investigation. PC Phil Drummond from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said, “As our investigation progresses, our thoughts remain with the woman and her loved ones. Though the driver of the vehicle is assisting us with our enquiries, we are appealing to anyone with dash cam footage to share it with us.”
