Tragedy struck Burnham Road just before 9am on Monday 2 May when a collision between a Mercedes and a Fiesta resulted in a fatality. A man sadly died at the scene, and his family have been informed.
Emergency services responded quickly and closed Burnham Road for several hours while carrying out their investigation. The road was reopened shortly after 3pm.
Police are now seeking witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the area around the time of the crash to help with their inquiries.
