Between 1.30am and 3am on April 24, a man in his 20s was brutally attacked near Sweetapple Close. The victim sustained serious head injuries, including a fractured skull.
He was rushed to Salisbury District Hospital where he spent several days receiving treatment before being discharged.
Detective Sergeant Toni Nugent described the incident as a “nasty assault.” She explained that the victim has not been able to identify his attacker and continues to experience pain during his recovery.
“We’re keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault or has CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage from the area. Anything could be vital to our investigation,” said Detective Sergeant Nugent.
