Just after midnight on Saturday 14 May 2022, a man and woman in their 20s were involved in a heated exchange with an unknown woman on Thanet’s High Street. Shortly afterwards, a black Land Rover Freelander arrived, and four men exited the vehicle to assault the couple.
The victims were rushed to hospital by South East Coast Ambulance Service. Fortunately, both have since been discharged.
On Monday 16 May, Kent Police arrested three men and one woman aged between 24 and 32. They were taken into custody as the investigation continues.
Kent Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the attack or has CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward. Witnesses can call 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/91370/22. Alternatively, information can be reported anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
