Police are hunting witnesses following a brutal assault on a taxi driver in Swindon in the early hours of May 13.
The attack took place outside the Jurys Inn hotel on Fleming Way at around 1.15am. Two male passengers in the taxi became violent, assaulting the driver, a man in his 40s.
The driver suffered head and facial injuries in the assault. He was taken to Great Western Hospital where he continues to experience pain from the attack.
Two men aged 18 and 19 from Surrey were arrested on suspicion of assault. Both have been questioned and subsequently released under investigation as police continue their enquiries.
Detectives are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time, whether on foot or in vehicles, to come forward with any information. Witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage are urged to contact police on 101, quoting crime reference 54220049116.
