Drama erupted just before 3pm on 19 April when a man launched a verbal assault on a 71-year-old woman sitting in an empty seat on a train. The situation quickly escalated as an 81-year-old man intervened to defend her.

The aggressor snapped, claiming “she was in my seat,” before punching the older gentleman squarely on the eye. Witnesses were left stunned as chaos unfolded on the service at James Street station.

Thankfully, two staff members acted swiftly to eject the troublemaker from the train before the situation worsened.

Authorities are now seeking the suspect. If you recognise this man or have any information, please contact British Transport Police immediately.
