Just after 1.30 a.m. on Monday, July 18, chaos erupted on Lady Margaret Road, Southall, when two men were viciously attacked with a bottle.
Police and paramedics rushed to the scene following reports of an injured man in his twenties. He was treated at hospital and, thankfully, his injuries were not life-threatening.
Shortly after, a man in his 40s arrived at the hospital with similar bottle-related injuries. His condition is now critical.
Officers believe both men were attacked at the same time. Despite the severity of the incident, no arrests have been made yet.
Investigations are ongoing, and detectives are urging anyone with information to contact police by calling 101 or tweeting @MetCC with reference CAD471/18July. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
