Police in Whitstable are actively searching for a man captured on CCTV following a burglary on High Street. The incident took place at approximately 3.20pm on Friday, 24 June 2022, when thieves stole bank cards and cash from a staff area within a local business.
After the theft, the stolen bank cards were used for fraudulent purchases at nearby shops, prompting a wider investigation by Kent Police. Officers conducted a thorough review of CCTV footage, sought witnesses, and searched the area for additional evidence.
Kent Police have now released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to as he may have crucial information related to the case. A police spokesperson stated, “We urge anyone who recognises this man to come forward and help with our enquiries.”
