A manhunt is currently underway for Darren Knowles, 49, from Barrow, after a stabbing incident on Dalkeith Street early this morning. Authorities are urgently seeking to locate him as part of an ongoing investigation.
The alarm was raised at 4:21am when the North West Ambulance Service contacted police to report a man suffering from a stab wound to his shoulder. Emergency services responded promptly, and an immediate investigation has been launched.
Detective Inspector Fae Dilks of Cumbria Constabulary appealed to the public for assistance, stating, “We are appealing for any information on the whereabouts of Darren Knowles. Our officers are working flat out and patrols in the area have been increased to reassure residents. If you know anything that could help, please get in touch immediately.”
