At 3.30pm on 30 September, a man climbed over a fence at Sittingbourne railway station in an attempt to access the platform without paying for a ticket.

Rail staff quickly noticed the man and escorted him out of the station. However, as he passed through the booking hall, the man turned and spat at one of the staff members before leaving the area.

The British Transport Police have released an image of the individual and are asking anyone who recognises him or has information to come forward. You can text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 355 of 30 September.

Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
