Early Monday morning chaos struck a small shop in West London when raiders drove a car straight into Tudor Stores in Hayes. At approximately 2:27am on November 28, the suspects crashed into the shop front on Wood End Green Road and stole cigarettes and alcohol.
Police arrived at the scene to find the car still lodged through the store’s front. The raiders had already fled in a stolen blue estate car, leaving the crash vehicle behind. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said, “The suspects fled in a blue estate car before the police arrived. They had stolen alcohol and cigarettes. No reported injuries, but a scene is in place. Investigations continue.”
A crime scene was established overnight as officers continue their investigation. Members of the public with any information are urged to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or call 101 quoting case number CAD 515/28NOV.
