Police have released a photo of a man wearing a red top they want to question after a street fight broke out in Nottingham city centre.
The chaotic incident occurred between 7pm and 7.30pm on Saturday, 20 August 2022, shortly after the Notts County versus Chesterfield football match.
A group of men and teenagers clashed on Canal Street, causing a violent scene that alarmed the local community. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
Officers have already made some arrests but continue to investigate the full circumstances surrounding the brawl.
Sergeant Steve Willetts from Nottinghamshire Police said, “We’re asking for the public’s help to try and identify the man in these images. We believe he may have vital info to help our ongoing investigation. If you know who he is, please get in touch.”
Anyone with information, mobile phone footage, or who witnessed the incident is urged to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 231 of 20 August 2022. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
