Police in Nottingham are searching for a suspect who violently pushed a shop manager to the floor during a robbery in the city centre.
The incident occurred on 1 November at approximately 11.05am inside a store on Exchange Walk. The suspect entered the shop and took several items from a Pokémon stand without permission.
When staff confronted the man, he reacted aggressively by shoving the shop manager to the ground before fleeing the scene.
PC Sean Parker, who is leading the investigation, described the attack as distressing. He said, “This was a distressing incident for a shop manager just doing his job and protecting his business.”
He continued, “We want to protect Nottingham’s shops from robbers and bring this person to justice. If you recognise the man in the image released or are the man pictured, please get in touch immediately.”
Members of the public with information are urged to contact Nottingham Police by calling 101 and quoting incident number 0239 of 23 November 2022. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be provided to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Police emphasise the importance of community assistance in preventing criminals from escaping justice. Anyone with knowledge of the suspect is encouraged to speak up.
