Two men were shot in a South London estate last night, prompting a police investigation and a call for witnesses to come forward. The incident occurred on the Lettsome Estate, McNeil Road, SE5.
Police were alerted at 8.55pm when two men, aged 24 and 28, arrived at a South London hospital with gunshot wounds. Both victims are currently in a serious but stable condition.
Early investigations indicate that the shooting took place around 8.30pm on the Lettsome Estate. Officers are urgently seeking anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at that time.
Detectives have urged the public to provide any information, no matter how small or seemingly irrelevant, as it could be vital to solving the case. They said: “Any information, no matter how small or irrelevant it seems, could be vital in cracking this case.”
