Shock gripped East London after a 46-year-old woman was found dead at her home on Yester Road.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service arrived at the scene shortly after 8:20 a.m. on January 20. Upon arrival, they discovered the woman’s body inside the property.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that a post-mortem examination conducted on January 22 revealed no visible signs of injury on the woman’s body. The exact cause of her death remains unknown at this time.

The coroner is currently conducting an active investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the woman’s unexpected death. Her next of kin have been informed about the situation.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police urged anyone with information to come forward. They stated: “The death is being treated as unexpected and further enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.”
