A teenage boy was stabbed in broad daylight on Ardleigh Green Road, Hornchurch, at 10:40 a.m. on Tuesday, 21 February. Police were called to reports of a stabbing incident in the area.
The victim, an 18-year-old male, was rushed to hospital by the London Ambulance Service. Fortunately, his injuries are no longer considered life-threatening.
Following the incident, police quickly arrested another 18-year-old male on suspicion of attempted murder. The suspect has since been released on bail while inquiries continue.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the stabbing to come forward. Witnesses can contact police by calling 101 or tweeting @MetCC with reference CAD 2318/21Feb. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
