At around 11.30am on Saturday 4 March 2023, a man driving a red Vauxhall Viva on the M25 towards the Dartford Tunnel exited the motorway at Swanley. While waiting in the traffic light queue, the victim was allegedly attacked by another driver who got out of a black Mini.
The victim sustained a serious facial cut and was taken to hospital for treatment following the incident.
Police responded promptly and arrested a man in his 50s at the scene. Detective PC Lexi Carter stated, “Other drivers queued at the lights may have seen the assault.” She added, “We are investigating and urgently appeal for anyone with information to come forward.”
