North London has been shaken by two violent incidents in quick succession. A man was hospitalised with gunshot injuries following an attack on Philip Lane, while a 25-year-old man, Jordan Briscoe, died after being stabbed in Tottenham.
On Monday, March 6, police received reports of a violent assault at around 5.25pm on Philip Lane, N15. The victim informed officers that he was attacked by a gang armed with a firearm. He sustained facial injuries and is currently receiving treatment in hospital. Authorities have not made any arrests so far, and investigations are ongoing.
Less than 24 hours earlier, on Sunday, March 5, Jordan Briscoe, aged 25, was fatally stabbed on Arnold Road in Haringey. The attack occurred at approximately 10.15pm. Emergency services arrived promptly and took Jordan to hospital, but he sadly succumbed to his injuries later that night. His family has been notified and is receiving support during this difficult time.
Police have established a crime scene in South Tottenham and launched a murder investigation to identify and apprehend Jordan’s killer. No arrests have been made to date.
