Four individuals were arrested following a serious incident on Wembley High Road where a woman was struck by a car during a late-night disturbance. The event unfolded in the early hours of Sunday, 12 March.
At approximately 1.30am, police responded to reports of a fight that escalated when a vehicle mounted the pavement and collided with two people, a man and a woman, both in their 50s.
Emergency services arrived to a challenging crowd control situation. Both victims were transported to hospital for treatment. The woman remains in serious condition, with her full prognosis currently unknown. The man sustained injuries that are not life-threatening or life-changing.
The Metropolitan Police Service’s North West CID has launched an immediate investigation into the incident. Four suspects have been taken into custody and are currently being questioned as enquiries continue.
