A man was rushed to hospital after a serious two-car collision on the A27 westbound at Shoreham early this morning. Emergency services responded promptly, and the crash caused the road to be closed for several hours while teams worked to clear the scene and repair the damage.
National Highways has since confirmed that the A27 has reopened to traffic. However, the westbound exit slip road to the A283 remains closed due to damaged barriers that require urgent repairs.
Drivers intending to use the A283 exit are advised to continue to the Lancing Manor Roundabout. From there, they should use the eastbound A27 to loop back and reach their destination safely.
