Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded promptly after reports of a crash on the M2 eastbound, located between Junction 6 at Faversham and Junction 7 at Brenley Corner.
Three paramedics from the 123 Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) provided urgent medical care at the scene. Kent Police, National Highways traffic officers, and SECAmb worked closely together to manage the crash site and ensure the safety of all involved.
National Highways has confirmed that the M2 eastbound has now reopened following earlier closures to allow for vehicle recovery. The swift and coordinated efforts of the emergency teams helped clear the wreckage efficiently and restore traffic flow.
The effective teamwork between Kent’s emergency services and partner agencies was key to minimising disruption and ensuring motorists were able to continue their journeys safely.
