Why the Closures Matter
The Dartford Crossing, a vital link crossing the River Thames between Kent and Essex, requires this essential maintenance to keep traffic flowing safely and smoothly. National Highways urges drivers to follow diversion routes during closure hours.
“Please stay vigilant and follow diversion signs to avoid delays,” a National Highways spokesperson said.
Stay Updated and Safe
Conditions can change, especially if the weather turns poor, so keep an eye on official updates via the National Highways website or travel apps. Adhering to traffic rules and posted diversions will help ensure your journey is hassle-free while work is underway.
