A 14-year-old girl was rushed to hospital with serious head and facial injuries following a frightening attack on a group of Jewish girls in Stamford Hill, North London.
The incident occurred as the girls were heading to a rehearsal near the Woodberry Down Estate (N4). A man, positioned on a balcony, suddenly hurled glass bottles at the group. One of the bottles struck the teenager, causing significant injury.
Volunteer medics from the Hatzola Ambulance Service responded swiftly, transporting the injured girl to the Royal London Hospital. Her current condition remains unknown.
The local safety organisation Shomrim is providing support to the victims and their families. Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Police in Hackney have launched a hate crime investigation into the assault.
The Stamford Hill Jewish community has expressed shock and condemnation over the attack, with leaders and residents calling for justice and enhanced protection for young people in the area.
