A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital after a collision with a car on Uxbridge Road in Shepherd’s Bush this afternoon, November 26, 2024.
The crash occurred at approximately 3:50 p.m., prompting a rapid emergency response from the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service.
Emergency services arrived quickly at the scene where the rider was treated before being taken to hospital. Fortunately, sources have confirmed that the injuries sustained are not life-threatening.
The incident caused disruption to several bus routes in the area, including the 207, 260, 283, and SL8, which were forced to take detours until the road was reopened shortly after the crash.
A police spokesperson provided the following statement: “Police were called at about 3:50 p.m. today (November 26) to Uxbridge Road, W12, following reports of a collision involving a car and a motorbike. Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. The rider was taken to hospital for treatment; their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The road has reopened to traffic.”
