Police are investigating after a stabbing incident on London Road, Croydon, on Sunday afternoon, December 1. Emergency services responded at around 3.15pm following reports of a fight.

Officers and paramedics found a man in his 30s suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to hospital, where it was confirmed his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.

A crime scene was established but has since been cleared. The Metropolitan Police have stated that the investigation remains in its early stages, with no arrests made so far.

Detectives are working to understand the circumstances surrounding the attack and to identify the person responsible.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone who saw the incident or has information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference CAD 4326/01Dec. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via their website.
