Acton, London – Two men have been charged after a violent incident on Sunday in Acton that left one man dead and several others injured. Nicholi Clyne, 34, from Northolt, and Ahmed Khaleel, 31, from Camden, appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 12 December. Both men face serious charges including violent disorder and grievous bodily harm (GBH).
Emergency services responded to reports of a violent altercation in Acton on Sunday. Tragically, one man was pronounced dead at the scene while several others sustained injuries. Police have not released details regarding the circumstances of the incident or the identity of the deceased as the investigation continues.
Clyne and Khaleel were remanded in custody pending further court hearings. Their next appearance is scheduled at a higher court as the investigation into the violent disorder progresses.
Detectives have appealed for witnesses to come forward with any information or footage related to the incident. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said, “We are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding this tragic event. We urge anyone who was in the area at the time or has relevant information to contact us.”
