Chaos erupted at 4am on 7 January 2023 in Bolton when Greater Manchester Police rushed to Cramond Walk following a brutal stabbing incident. Three men suffered serious stab wounds to their stomachs, with two fighting for their lives and one left with life-altering injuries. All three victims remain in critical condition in hospital.
Police swiftly arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the attack. He is currently in custody undergoing questioning as officers continue to investigate the savage assault.
GMP Superintendent Mark Kenny reassured the community amid the ongoing investigation, stating: “This was a serious assault, but I would like to reassure residents that we have taken swift action to identify and arrest the suspect. This action means there is no wider threat to the community, and the investigation is being progressed as a priority for Greater Manchester Police.”
Authorities are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward. They are particularly seeking dashcam or CCTV footage that could aid the investigation.
