Two men have been charged in a serious murder investigation that has gripped Rotherham. Donatas Noreika, 37, of Milton’s Main Street, and Arturas Karvelis, 42, also known as Arturas Bockus, from Broad Street, Parkgate, face charges of conspiring to prevent the lawful and decent burial of a body.

Both men are due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 23 March. Earlier in the investigation, a 64-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman were held by police but have since been released without charge.

The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Orinta Narbutaite from Rotherham. Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the case to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.

Police have requested that anyone with relevant details contact them by calling 101 and quoting incident number 18 of 20 March 2026. The investigation remains active, and public assistance is considered vital to resolving the case.
