Police are currently searching for Daniel Bryan Thornton, 35, from St Michaels Avenue, Park Gate. He is wanted for questioning in connection with a series of burglaries targeting homes in and around Fareham.
Officers have linked Thornton to at least 30 break-ins across Fareham, Gosport, Titchfield, Warsash, Winchester, and Petersfield. These burglaries occurred between September 2018 and April 2019, with stolen goods valued at over £100,000.
Witnesses have reported seeing Thornton climbing through open windows and ransacking properties during the raids.

Police Warning and Appeal
“We need to speak to Daniel Thornton urgently as part of our burglaries enquiry, which we believe are connected,” said Police Staff Investigator Catherine Cole. “Thornton has ties to Fareham, Gosport, and Sussex. We think he may be sleeping rough, possibly in a tent. Please do not approach him. If you see him, call 999 immediately.”
