Avon and Somerset Police are currently searching for a man following a sexual assault on a woman in Bristol. The incident took place on Dean Lane, Bedminster, between 10.15 and 10.30am on Sunday 15 March.
The woman reported that she was inappropriately touched by an unknown man. After the assault, the suspect fled down Southville Road towards St Paul’s Church.
The suspect is described as a black male, aged between 20 and 30 years old, with a height of 5ft 6in to 5ft 8in and a medium build. He was wearing a pastel green or light grey hooded puffer jacket and black bottoms.
The victim was not physically injured but was left shaken by the incident. She is currently receiving support.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to contact them by calling 101 and quoting reference 5226071636. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form.
