Leighton Finn-Gibbs, aged 20, from Selkirk Close, Middlesbrough, has been sentenced to 18 months in prison following his arrest for possession of crack cocaine and cannabis. This is his second time being incarcerated for drug-related offences.
On December 30, 2025, the Middlesbrough Proactive Team conducted a raid on a property located on Wellesley Road. Several individuals were present at the scene during the operation. A woman found at the property was in possession of a mobile phone that contained messages directly linking Finn-Gibbs to drug dealing activities. These messages revealed efforts to recruit others to distribute Class A drugs, confirming Finn-Gibbs’s significant role in the local drug supply network.
Finn-Gibbs has a prior criminal record, having previously served time for Class A drug supply and dangerous driving after colliding with a police vehicle. Sergeant John Sproson of the Middlesbrough Proactive Team commented on the case, stating: “Leighton Finn-Gibbs has again been found to be involved in drugs supply across Middlesbrough. We continue to tackle those pushing drugs on our streets and will keep putting offenders before the courts to protect the community.”
