London Victoria bus and railway stations were placed into lockdown as police responded to an ongoing incident. The exact details of the event have not yet been confirmed.

Shortly before 11pm on Tuesday night, a large number of police officers arrived at the scene. Witnesses reported seeing a man being chased by police near the station.

Authorities cordoned off the station and nearby roads, including Buckingham Palace Road, Ebury Street, Eccleston Place, and Ebury Mews, to secure the area.

The police lockdown caused significant disruption to local transport services. Several night buses were diverted away from Victoria station as officers managed the situation.

The Metropolitan Police have been approached for comment but have not provided any details about the incident. Updates will be shared as the story develops.
